you have to have the 3 in a row before you canasta.

Make tables 2/2/2 - In this tourney, you mus play for the best BlackJack hand possible,
without going over 21. If you get a perfect 21, it will result in an automatic win.
Example: A canasta of Aces and 10's (or Jacks, Queens, Kings) would be 21; A canasta in
4s, 7s, and 10s (or Jacks, Queens, Kings) would also equal 21; A canasta in 8s and 10s
would only be 18. Remember each card has its own value. Aces = 1 or 11. Face Cards = 10.
You CAN pick up the pile in this game. But, if either player goes over 21, it will result
in a disqualification from the tournament.

like 3 red 4s then all the other melds have to be red also and vice versa, both players

You may also meld your 4's and Ace's at the same time but no other cards may be meld until
your next turn. Once you've got your 4's and Ace's melded you may meld or canasta any
other cards and go out.

or more players. All team members are at the table. The first person on either team to
lose the hand by hand score not total score, must leave the table (they were bumped) They
go to lobby to root for their team. This is a process of elimination. The last person
remaining or persons remaining on one team, is the winning team and will advance. This
tourney can be either random or pick own partner. The total game score does not count,
only the hand score. If game ends before all eliminated, a new game is started.

pile when making the initial meld, however the face card and Judge have to be played when
you pick up, not after. After you have faced the Judge, play continues as regular rules. .

they will say "go fish" and continue their turn as normal. ****NOTE: Cards CAN
be melded, before discarding the card your opp asks for.**** The only way the pile can be
picked up, is by discarding a black three and asking for the right card. In this Tourney,

GROUNDED
Make tables 2/2/1 - In this tourney, You can ONLY Meld & Canasta black 3, 4S, 5'S,

KING OF THE HILL
PLEASE READ RULES BEFORE MAKING THIS TOURNAMENT. This is a paper tourney. In this kind of
tourney the 2 lowest ranks play the first match. The winner of this game stays seated and
the TD calls the next lower rank to play. The loser of the game must report his/her loss
to the league right after the game. This goes on until there is only 1 person left and is
declared the winner of the tourney. I suggest that you run 2 tourneys at the same time to
prevent your players from getting bored while they are waiting for their games. The TD is
expected to check the rank of each one of the players on the league's standing page while
taking the registrations on paper.

Make tables 2/2/2 - In this tourney, your canastas must go in descending order (high to
low). They do not have to be consecutive, but they must be in order from high to low. If
you canasta 6s as your first canasta, then you may only canasta 5s or 4s that hand. If
your first canasta is Aces, then you may canasta anything lower than an Ace, but remember
you cannot go back and pick up any that you might have missed later on in the hand. Think
before you close those nastas!!!

Make tables 2/2/2 - In this tourney, you must have 7's in your initial meld. The first
player to meld 7's is the ONLY player who can go out. (PLEASE TYPE YOUR SEAT COLOR IN THE

initial meld, and can make as many canastas as they wish but they can NOT go out. The pile

MAGIC 8 BALL
Make tables 2/2/2, UNRATED, Please Leave Kibitz On - In this tourney when a Black 8 is
discarded, the opponent must draw from the deck, then the player that discarded the 8 can
stand up and kibitz the opponents hand. Please call the TD to the table when discarding a
black 8 so they see the 8 and can monitor the kibitzing. You will have 10 seconds to stand
up, kibitz the hand and sit back down. Black 8s CANNOT be picked up, but CAN be melded!!
It is Regular Rules beyond that unless otherwise stated. If someone at the table kibitzes
out of turn or picks up a black 8, it will result in a disqualification from the tourney.
If you are playing someone that breaks these rules, send a message to the TD at your
table.

Make tables 2/2/2 - In this tourney, You must canasta the queens and kings to go out (they
marry) but when your opponent canastas the jacks (he's jealous) and takes their castle
(canasta of aces) after you have already made canastas out of q's and k's he won... game
over. You can freeze the pile and make as many canastas as you want but you cant go out
unless you have the queens and kings as canastas first.

Make tables 2/2/1, UNRATED - In this tourney, the player who gets the most canastas in one
hand wins. If the players tie after one hand, the game continues until one player is able
to get more canastas than his/her opponent and go out. The pile CAN be picked up in this
game. In the event that neither player is able to get more canastas than his/her opponent,
the highest score at the end of the game wins.

from each team starts, and after they have discarded, they stand up and someone else from
the team sits down to play the next turn. Once that play has discarded, they stand, and
the 3rd team mate sits. Play continues like this through the entire game. NO PLAYER FROM
EITHER TEAM SHOULD EVER PLAY MORE THAN ONE TURN CONSECUTIVELY!!

Make table 2/2/2 and unrated. In this tourney, when you throw a black 3, you can switch
seats with your opp if you choose to. In order to change seats with your opp, you stand
and ask the td to take your seat.. once the td is in your seat your opp stands and you
take their seat, then the td stands and the opp takes your original seat. Everything else
is regular canasta.

MYSTERY NTC
Make tables 2/2/1 - In this game the up card of the deck will tell the game. NO PICKING UP
THE PILE. Example: If the upcard is a 4 you need to use 4s in your initial meld. You can
use other cards and wilds but whatever the upcard was must be in your initial meld. Once
the upcard has been melded the game is played like regular ntc. If the upcard is a 2 JOKER
BLACK 3 OR RED 3 game will be regular ntc that hand. Please type in what the top card is
this will let the TD know what is the initial meld is.

Make tables 2/2/1: KIBITZ IS TO REMAIN ON AT ALL TIMES IN THIS TOURNEY!! In this
particular tourney, you must meld everything you can as soon as you can. You may NEVER
freeze the pile. You may go out if you'd like. You cannot hold anything back in your hand,
if it will meld on your board, you must meld it as soon as you get it. The one exception
to this is wildcards. Wilds do not have to be melded until you want to meld them. If you
have a canasta and you draw something that plays to that canasta, you must meld it, you
may not discard it. You will be given 1 warning per person per game for holding cards that
could be melded. Freezing the pile will result in a DQ. This game is only played 3 hands,
whomever has the lowest score after 3 hands is the winner.

are like black three's and you can discard them, but you can't meld Aces or meld the Black
3's until going out. You can't canasta Aces either. You do not have to freeze the pile
because it is no pick up.

two may only canasta ODD numbers. BOTH PLAYERS CAN "MELD" ODD AND EVEN, the
odd/even rule ONLY applies to your canastas. Aces and black threes are neutral, and can be
canastad by both players. JACKS AND KINGS ARE CONSIDERED ODD CARDS AND QUEENS ARE EVEN.
The pile CAN be picked up in this game.
